Final Stats
Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's basketball team had its two-game winning streak snapped with a 64-47 loss to Albany Monday evening at Island Federal Credit Union Arena.
It was the first home loss for the Seawolves (12-8, 3-2 America East), who were led by junior Jameel Warney's (Plainfield, N.J.) 16 points. Warney also had seven rebounds and five blocks.
Junior Rayshaun McGrew (Chicago, Ill.) tallied his sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Freshman Tyrell Sturdivant (Chester, Pa.) added seven points and seven rebounds in 14 minutes off the bench.
Evan Singletary led four Albany (10-7, 5-0) players in double figures with 21 points. Sam Rowley added 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Key Moment
Albany led 45-31 with 12:40 left after a layup from Richard Peters. The Great Danes led 53-42 with 4:29 left in regulation, but Stony Brook got within six, 53-47, after McGrew's layup beat the shot clock and freshman Bryan Sekunda's (State College, Pa.) three with 2:46 to play. Albany made 11 of its last 12 free throws.
