STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook men's basketball team has officially revealed its full slate of CAA games for the 2026-27 season on Thursday. The conference schedule features 18 games split evenly at home and on the road

Conference play gets underway at home with a New Year's Eve showdown vs. Monmouth. Two days later, the Seawolves ring in 2027 over in Hempstead as they take on reigning CAA champion Hofstra for the first time this season.

Stony Brook only has one contest the next week as the team returns home to host Towson on January 9. After that begins a three-game road trip to North Carolina that sees the Seawolves face N.C. A&T (Jan. 14), Elon (Jan. 16), and Campbell (Jan. 18).

The team is back home for the first time in nearly two weeks on January 21 to host William & Mary, before once again hitting the road to play at Northeastern on the 23rd.

A four-game homestand begins the following week as Stony Brook faces Hampton (Jan. 28) and Drexel (Jan. 30) to close out the first month of league play, before opening February with the second meetings of the season vs. Elon (Feb. 4) and Campbell (Feb. 6). 

Next up is another trip to the Carolinas, with the Seawolves playing Charleston on February 11 and the 2026 CAA Regular Season Champion UNCW two days later. Then, Stony Brook is back home for another one-game week as they finish off the season series with Hofstra on February 20.

The final road trip of the season will see the Seawolves head to Philadelphia for their second game with Drexel on February 25, followed by a short drive over to the Jersey Shore to play Monmouth on the 27th.

Finally, Stony Brook closes out the regular season at home when they host Northeastern on March 2 in the only Tuesday contest of the season.

From there it is a quick turnaround to the start of the CAA Championships in Washington D.C. The tournament runs from March 5-9 at CareFirst Arena.
