KINGSTON, R.I. - A total team victory can be accomplished when all three phases (offensive, defense and special teams) contribute positively toward the outcome and on Saturday afternoon, the Stony Brook football team put together a total team win, 19-7, over Rhode Island in a CAA Football game at Meade Stadium.

Quoting the Seawolves
Head coach Chuck Priore
"We made plays and that is what it is all about. Obviously, if you stop them good things happen. We kept on stopping them with a lot of big sacks and negative plays. We ran the heck out of the ball in the second half and we needed too. In the fourth quarter we had the wind against us and the kids up front really did a good job. Conor (Bednarski) did a good job running the show and Donny (Liotine) did a good job running the ball."
