Boston, Mass. - After a 15-1 record and its fourth straight America East Championship title, the Stony Brook women's tennis team swept the conference's yearly awards.

Senior Polina Movchan (Kiev, Ukraine), freshman Elizabeth Tsvetkov (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Gary Glassman took home Player, Rookie and Coach of the Year honors, respectively.

Movchan, who was named America East Player of the Year for the second straight season, led the team with an 8-1 record in dual matches at No. 1 singles and a 5-0 record in conference play. She's one of Stony Brook's all-time leaders in singles wins.

Tsvetkov was a mainstay in the middle of the lineup, winning four matches apiece at No. 3, 4 and 5. She led the Seawolves in dual matches with 14 wins and 22 singles wins overall.

Glassman has led Stony Brook to the NCAA Tournament in each of the last four seasons, dominating conference play to the tune of 19 wins over the last four seasons. The Seawolves will play at No. 14 Stanford in the first round of the NCAA Tournament next week.

Joining Movchan and Tsvetkov as first-team selections are sophomore Nadia Smergut (New York, N.Y.) and freshman Kristina Vozniak (Kiev, Ukraine).

Smergut is 9-2 in dual matches, including a 5-0 record at No. 3 singles. She's 17-5 overall this season in singles action. Vozniak is second on the squad behind Tsvetkov with 20 singles wins. She has split time at No. 1 and 2 singles.

Sophomore Adey Osabuohien (Hazel Crest, Ill.), a second team all-conference selection, is 8-3 in dual matches and 15-7 overall.

In dual matches, Stony Brook went 73-17 during singles play.

Smergut and junior Louise Badoche (Paris, France) have dominated doubles opponents all season long and were rewarded with first team all-conference honors. They went 9-3 at No. 1 doubles in dual matches and 15-7 overall.

Movchan and freshman Yana Nikolaeva (Thornhill, Ontario) combined to win 10 of 11 matches at No. 2 doubles on their way to first team all-conference honors.
