Quotes . . .
Steve Pikiell
It wasn't a pretty game, but it's a win. I'm pretty happy with that. Ray [McGrew] does a lot of things for us and when you break down film, you realize that. He comes to work everyday and has improved as much as anyone. He's really playing at a high level now.

Rayshaun McGrew
I always try to be aggressive and get to the glass. Rebounding was a huge difference maker in the second half.

Jameel Warney
I had to make up in the second half for the minutes I didn't play in the first half. I felt like I contributed well in the second half.

Carson Puriefoy
I try to pick and choose my spots because my teammates do a great job of finding me. I was trying to be aggressive, but at the same time also getting my teammates involved in the action.

Turning Point
Hooley's layup with 1:55 left in regulation gave Albany a 63-62 lead, but that was the Great Danes final points of the night. Warney made two free throws with 42 seconds left to break the 13th tie of the game. Off a free throw miss, McGrew grabbed the rebound, scored and was fouled, completing the three-point play. Puriefoy added two more free throws, completing a 7-0 run for Stony Brook.
