Opponent
Towson is 1-3 overall and 0-2 in CAA Football play. The Tigers have dropped back-to-back conference games on the road with losses at Villanova and Richmond. Towson's win came at home against Saint Francis back on Sept. 10.

The Series
This will be the fourth meeting between the two conference foes. Towson owns a 2-1 series advantage, but the road team has won each game. The Tigers took last year's meeting, 21-14, on Oct. 17 in LaValle Stadium.

Captains
Stony Brook's captains for the 2016 season are graduate WR Tim Keith, senior DB Jaheem Woods, senior DL Aaron Thompson, junior DB Tyrice Beverette and junior RB Stacey Bedell.

Against the Ranks
Stony Brook is now 7-18 all-time against FCS ranked opponents, including the Seawolves' 42-14 win over No. 2 Richmond last Saturday and the 13-9 season-opening victory against No. 19 North Dakota. Richmond's No. 2 ranking equals the highest ranked opponent to come into Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium (No. 2 Towson on Sept. 28, 2013).

Up Next
Stony Brook returns home to host CAA Football foe Rhode Island on Oct. 15 for Homecoming. The Seawolves and Rams will kickoff at 4 p.m. in Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.
