Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Stony Brook volleyball team hit its stride in the third and fourth sets to pull away and defeat Hartford (25-18, 20-25, 25-17, 25-12) in a Friday matinee at Pritchard Gymansium. With the win, the Seawolves improve to 7-20 and 3-8 in the America East, while the Hawks dip to 5-19 and 2-9 in conference play.

McKyla Brooks (Blasdell, N.Y.), improved to .312 on the year with a .421 (11k-2e-19ta) night while adding three digs and two blocks.

- The Seawolves improve to 28-5 against the Hawks in the Division I era and 29-5 all-time, including a perfect 15-0 at Stony Brook.
- The 28 wins over Hartford are the most against any Division I opponent.
