Stony Brook, N.Y. – Another stellar performance from redshirt-sophomore
Emily Costello (Webster, N.Y.) lifted the Stony Brook volleyball team to a four-set win over UMass Lowell (25-19, 25-22, 25-27, 25-19) Sunday at Pritchard Gymnasium in Stony Brook's 2016 home finale. With the win, the Seawolves improve to 8-20 and 4-8 in the America East, while the River Hawks drop to 6-22 and 1-11 in conference play.

- Costello tallied a career-high 23 kills on a .447 hitting percentage while adding five digs, three blocks and two aces.

McKyla Brooks (Blasdell, N.Y.) chipped in 12.

- Costello's previous career-high was 15 at Binghamton Nov. 5.
- Costello is averaging 3.16 kills/set in the month of November.
- Stony Brook improves to 7-1 all-time against UMass Lowell and sweeps the season series for the second-straight year.
