Stony Brook, N.Y. – The Stony Brook volleyball team took one of the winningest teams in the nation to the distance and beyond, but fell to Fairfield in five sets (25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 20-25, 16-18) in a Wednesday night clash at Pritchard Gymnasium. In the defeat, the Seawolves fall to 6-20, while Fairfield moves to 25-5, giving the Stags the third-most wins in the nation to this point in 2016.

McKyla Brooks (Blasdell, N.Y.) led the Seawolves with 18 kills and hit .324 (18k-6e-37ta) while adding three blocks.
