Stony Brook storms past Florida A&M, 80-49

Winter Park, Fla. – A career night from sophomore Davion Wingate (Atlanta, Ga.) and a dominant second quarter propelled the Stony Brook women's basketball team to an 80-49 win over Florida A&M Tuesday night at the Florida Sunshine Classic. With the win – the third straight for Stony Brook – the Seawolves even their record at 5-5, while the Rattlers drop to 1-9.

McCombs' Reaction
"We played a great team game. That's the best we've played overall for 40 minutes … putting two halves together. I'm really proud of how we took care of the ball, executed offensively, and locked down and defended today." – Head Coach Caroline McCombs
