Quotes . . .
Steve Pikiell
We were locked in on defense. UMBC can really score. They have terrific guards. We got good minutes from everyone. Lyles has been so good the last few games so we wanted to give him multiple looks and change defenses.
Jameel Warney
Last year we didn't win our first road game until after Christmas. To win 10 games on the road is great. We understand how tough it is to win on the road so we try to stay tough and together.
Ahmad Walker
We wanted to focus on our transition defense. Stopping the ball and keeping them out of the lane. I thought we did a pretty good job of that. Our preparation was very good. We play one game at a time.
