Seawolves drop another game to Baylor

WACO, Texas &ndash; The Stony Brook baseball team fell to Baylor 20-4 on Saturday afternoon in the second game of the three-game series at Baylor Ballfield.

Senior LF Jack Parenty (Wantagh, N.Y.) had an RBI single in the fifth inning to extend his hitting streak to five games, while sophomore 2B Bobby Honeyman (Massapequa, N.Y.) also singled to now reach safely in each of the Seawolves (1-4) five games.&nbsp;

Turning Point
Baylor once again struck first with a two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the first inning that gave the Bears the lead for good.

Notes
- Senior LF Jack Parenty (Wantagh, N.Y.) extended his hitting streak to five straight with a fifth-inning single. Parenty has hit safely in each of Stony Brook&rsquo;s five games this season.
- Sophomore 2B Bobby Honeyman (Massapequa, N.Y.) also singled to now reach safely in each of the Seawolves five games
- Sophomore C Drew Bene (Lebanon, Pa.) got his first career start behind the plate in Saturday&rsquo;s game. He also recorded his first career hit, an 2 run single in the fifth inning.&nbsp;

The Seawolves face the Bears in the series finale at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday. The Seawolves open the home slate on Wednesday when they host NYIT at Joe Nathan Field for a 3 p.m. first pitch.
