Fairfield, Conn. - Senior Diane Caruso (Middletown, N.Y.) had two hits, including her first home run of the season, in an 11-3 loss at Fairfield on Thursday.
Turning Point
Caruso's two-run homer in the top of the third gave the Seawolves a 3-2 lead, but it was short-lived as Fairfield tied the game in the bottom of the third and added six runs in the bottom of the fourth to roll to the victory in five innings.

- Freshman Irene Rivera (Sylmar, Calif.) drove in Caruso with a double in the top of the first inning.
- Caruso finished 2-for-3 with two hits, two runs and two rbi. Her homer was her seventh of her career.
