Orlando, Fla. - The Stony Brook volleyball team fell in four sets to Kent State (17-25, 25-15, 22-25, 20-25) Saturday afternoon to close out the Holiday Inn Orlando East/UCF Invitational. In the defeat, the Seawolves fall to 1-2, while the Golden Flashes improve to 2-1.
Turning Point
The Seawolves led 16-10 in the third set with the match tied 1-1 before Kent State was able to come back and take the third and fourth sets to win the contest.
By the Numbers

Maria Poole (Stavanger, Norway) led the Seawolves with 10 kills, while adding six digs, two blocks and one assist – all career-highs.

Melann Amory (Center Valley, Pa.) had a team-high 14 digs, while freshman
