Scouting the Hawks
Hartford was defeated for the first time in America East play with a 73-62 setback Monday at Maine. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Hawks.
Deanna Mayza ranks third in the America East at 15.6 points per game. Freshman Sierra DaCosta is averaging 15.3 points per game in conference play and was named America East Rookie of the Week Monday. Hartford leads the conference at 69.4 points per game.

Hartford holds a 25-10 advantage in the Division I series, but the Seawolves went 3-0 vs. the Hawks a year ago, including a 60-42 win in the America East quarterfinals.

Bayne-Walker is also the Seawolves' active scoring leader with 897 points.

Davion Wingate is averaging 13.3 points per game in 10 contests since joining the starting lineup for the Dec. 11 win at Central Connecticut.
Wingate has been in double figures in six of those games, which includes a pair of 20-point performances at the Florida Sunshine Classic against Florida A&M and Indiana.
Wingate has led the Seawolves in scoring in five of the last nine games.

Christa Scognamiglio passed Kelly Watson (2003-07) Jan. 7 for third in program history with 124 made three-pointers.
Scognamiglio's six threes at Central Connecticut (Dec. 11) were tied for the fourth-most in a single-game in program history, and the most since Mykeema Ford hit a program-record seven three-pointers at Boston University, Jan. 28, 2004.
Scognamiglio's 126 three-pointers rank third behind Ford, who hit 181 from 2003-07 and Donna Fennessy, who made 170 from 1994-98.
