Scouting the Bearcats
Binghamton opened AE play 3-0 but has dropped its last two after a 67-61 setback Thursday vs. Albany. Imani Watkins had 23 points.

Watkins leads the America East with 19.6 points per game and 2.4 steals per game. Alyssa James leads the team with 6.4 rebounds per game. Five of the Bearcats' eight wins have come on the road.

All-Time vs. Binghamton
Sunday's meeting will be the 34th since the SUNY foes made the jump to Division I, with the Bearcats holding a 17-16 edge. The Seawolves won seven straight in the series before a Bearcats victory in Vestal last Feb. 3.

Wingate's Big Night Not Enough to Hold Off Hartford
Sophomore Davion Wingate had a game-high 23 points - including 14 in the second half - but Stony Brook stumbled at Hartford in a 65-52 defeat Thursday night.

Bayne-Walker Breaks Program Assist Record
Senior Kori Bayne-Walker tallied six assists in Monday's win over UMass Lowell to break the all-time program record. Her fourth assist of the day - a second-quarter dish to Elizabeth Manner - passed Mykeema Ford with the 418th of her career. Bayne-Walker enters Sunday with 422 career assists.

Bayne-Walker is also the Seawolves' active scoring leader with 901 points.

There's No Place Like Home
Stony Brook has won six-straight games at Island Federal Credit Union Arena, which is tied with New Hampshire for the longest home winning streak. The Seawolves' streak is the longest among New York metropolitan-area teams.

Sneaky Scogs
Senior Christa Scognamiglio tallied a career-high seven steals in Monday's win over UMass Lowell - the highest total by an America East player this season.

1, 2, 3, 4... Pressure
Stony Brook is 5-2 this year in games decided by five points or less. The Seawolves have three wins decided by two points or less.

Start Me Up
Sophomore Davion Wingate is averaging 14.2 points per game in 11 contests since joining the starting lineup for the Dec. 11 win at Central Connecticut.

Wingate has been in double figures in six of those games, which includes 20-point performances at the Florida Sunshine Classic against Florida A&M and Indiana and again Thursday at Hartford.

Wingate has led the Seawolves in scoring in six of the last 10 games.

Three Stats on Christa's Threes
Senior Christa Scognamiglio passed Kelly Watson (2003-07) Jan. 7 for third in program history with 124 made three-pointers.

Scognamiglio's six threes at Central Connecticut (Dec. 11) were tied for the fourth-most in a single-game in program history, and the most since Mykeema Ford hit a program-record seven three-pointers at Boston University, Jan. 28, 2004.

Scognamiglio's 127 three-pointers rank third behind Ford, who hit 181 from 2003-07 and Donna Fennessy, who made 170 from 1994-98.

Next Up: UMBC
Stony Brook heads to Baltimore for a Wednesday matinee at UMBC. The Seawolves and Retrievers will square off in a Kids' Day game at noon.
