LOWELL, MA. – Junior LF
Andruw Gazzola (Coram, N.Y.) recorded a hit in each of the Stony Brook baseball team's games on Friday afternoon to extend his hitting streak to 14 straight games, but the Seawolves dropped both games to host UMass Lowell in an America East Conference doubleheader at LeLacheur Park.
The Seawolves (16-16, 4-4 AE) fell 7-5 in game one to the River Hawks (18-12, 7-3 AE) and dropped the second game 4-0.
Game One Turning Point
After Stony Brook took a 2-0 lead in the top of the fourth inning, UMass Lowell scored one in the fifth inning and took the lead for good by plating three runs on four hits in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Game Two Turning Point
The River Hawks provided all the offense needed in the bottom of the first inning with four runs on five hits.

- Junior 3B Bobby Honeyman (Massapequa, N.Y.) banged out two hits in game one for his seventh multi-hit game of the season.

Stony Brook and UMass Lowell complete the three-game series on Saturday at Noon. The Seawolves then close out the road swing with a three-game America East Conference series at Hartford next Saturday and Sunday.
