Dylan Resk (Ardsley, N.Y.) homered for the second straight game, but the Stony Brook baseball team fell 6-5 to Hartford at Fiondella Field on Sunday afternoon.
Resk's 10
th homerun of the season came in the fifth inning with a runner on and it gave the Seawolves' (17-19, 5-7 AE) at 3-1 lead. Stony Brook eventually held a 5-1 lead, but the Hawks (14-19, 6-6 AE) scored four runs in the seventh inning and one in the bottom of the ninth for their second straight walk-off win.
Turning Point
Hartford walked-off thanks to a solo home run by Ben Bengtson with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning.

- Sophomore RF Dylan Resk (Ardsley, N.Y.) belted his 10th home run of the season and 12th of his career in the fifth inning.
- Resk is now tied for ninth in home runs in a season with his 10.
- Senior CF Toby Handley (Whitby, Ontario) had a pair of hits on Sunday and has now reached base safely in 23 straight games. .
- Senior 1B Casey Baker (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) walked twice on Sunday and has now reached base safely in 20 straight games.

Stony Brook returns home to open a five-game home stand at Joe Nathan Field. The Seawolves welcome Marist on Tuesday and Fairfield on Wednesday before Maine visits for a three-game America East Conference series over the weekend.
