BALTIMORE – The Stony Brook baseball team heads south to close out the regular season as the Seawolves visit UMBC for a three-game America East Conference series at Alumni Field.

The Seawolves (23-23, 10-9 AE) and the Retrievers (19-21, 10-7 AE) will square off in a doubleheader at 12 p.m. on Friday before closing out the series with a single game at 12 p.m. on Saturday. Seeding for next week's America East Conference Tournament is at stake as well. Stony Brook could earn as high as the No. 2 seed or drop as low as the No. 4 seed, while UMBC is still in contention for the No. 1 seed, but could also be as low as the No. 4 seed.

The tournament gets underway next Wednesday at LeLacheur Park in Lowell, Massachusetts.
