Senior C David Real (Chandler, Ariz.) drove in four runs in game one on a pair of doubles, while senior SS Jeremy Giles (Claremont, Calif.) recorded three of Stony Brook's 13 hits in the game.

Resk also collected three hits in game two to go with senior CF Toby Handley's (Whitby, Ontario) two doubles.

Freshman RHP Brian Herrmann (Northport, N.Y.) earned the victory on the mound in game one, while redshirt freshman RHP Greg Marino (Centereach, N.Y.) and junior RHP Aaron Pinto (West Covina, Calif.) combined to allow just six hits in game two and just the one run.
