STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook men's soccer played to a scoreless draw against Binghamton in its first conference game of the 2017 season on Saturday night at LaValle Stadium. With the tie, the Seawolves move to 5-2-3 (0-0-1 AEC) so far this season.
Quoting Head Coach Ryan Anatol
"I thought Binghamton did a good job in the first half. Tactically, they did some things that were working for them. But our guys competed and battled. We got into the half 0-0, I thought the guys did a good job staying with it. And then I thought we came out in the second half and played really well. We made some adjustments… we created some good opportunities. It was a competitive game, we're a little disappointed not to get the three points, but I'm really proud of the guys."
Final: Stony Brook 0, Binghamton 0
