Jerell Matthews (Chicago, Ill.) scored a career-high 28 points in the win, shooting 10-of-18 from the floor (4-of-7 from 3-point range).

Quoting Head Coach Caroline McCombs
"I was really proud of our group tonight as we have been in a lot of close games so far this conference season. Tonight we were able to get some big stops down the stretch when we needed them. Binghamton is a very good team, and it took everything we had to come out on top."
