STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Stony Brook women's basketball fell vs. New Hampshire, 51-50, in America East play on Sunday afternoon at Island Federal Credit Union Arena. With the loss, the Seawolves fall to 10-9 (2-4 AE) so far in 2017-18.
Quoting Head Coach Caroline McCombs
"I thought we showed a lot of fight in the fourth quarter to come back after being down by 10 points. New Hampshire is a veteran team, and they were able to make one more play at the end. We've been in a lot of close ball games this season, and each one of them is an opportunity for us to learn. Our home crowd provided an awesome atmosphere today, and we look forward to playing in front of our fans again on Wednesday!"
