STONY BROOK, N.Y.- The Stony Brook volleyball team swept UMBC in three sets (25-20, 25-22, 25-18) Sunday afternoon. The Seawolves move to 12-8, and the Retrievers fall to 5-15 on the season.
Coach Belzung's Reaction
"UMBC is a very talented team who I thought scouted us well. Props to our group for making adjustments during the first set and being gritty enough to work ourselves into a good rhythm. We have a short turnaround to start the second round of conference play Thursday night against an explosive Hartford offense, so hope we can pack Pritchard for that!"
