NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y.- The Stony Brook volleyball team swept Iona in three sets (25-21, 25-21, 25-8) Sunday afternoon. The Seawolves improve to 14-8, and the Gaels fall to 13-6 on the season.
Coach Belzung's Reaction
"Offensively we had a great match, and Iona is a tough serving group so that was something we were concerned about going in. I did not think we defended well and most of that was not executing from a blocking standpoint until that third set when we finally adjusted to their tempo. We have our final home stand of the regular season this weekend and will need a great crowd Friday night for New Hampshire."
