BOALS' REACTION
"I think the biggest thing was responding after the loss last night. We use the equation E+R=O. The event happened, we lost the game. We did not play like we wanted to and we responded well. We were down and kept chipping away. We went offense-defense and made some big stops and hit enough free throws to have a big enough cushion."
HIGHLIGHTS
- Neither team had a lead more than five in the first 10 minutes of the night, with an 8-2 spurt pushing the Stony Brook lead to 14-9 at the 13:37 mark of the half. Yeboah put in back to back threes and Cornish finished a layup to record the eight points.
- Norfolk State pushed the lead to 31-24 on the back of a 10-0 run over a span of 1:59, but Stony Brook would respond.
- Eight in a row for the Seawolves would give them the 32-31 advantage and they would take the lead into the locker room at 41-38.
- Coming out in the second half, Norfolk State went up four at 47-43 just over 4:30 into the half.
- Stony Brook, as they had all night long, responded with six in a row to make it 49-47 in favor of the Seawolves.
- Norfolk State answered that with an 8-2 run of its own before the Seawolves rallied ahead for good with a Cornish three with 2:10 left.

- In a back and forth affair, the 40-minute game had 10 lead changes and the largest lead came at the end when Olaniyi hit a pair of free throws to put the score at its final mark of 72-65.
- Led by Yeboah's 11, the Seawolves outrebounded Norfolk State 38-23 and have now outrebounded all four of their opponents this season.
