Chris Hamilton (Schenectady, N.Y.) and broke the tie that lifted the Stony Brook baseball team to a 5-4 victory over Nicholls State on Saturday night at Didier Field.

Aaron Pinto (West Covina, Calif.) threw a scoreless ninth to close the game and earn his fifth career save and second in as many games.

After Nicholls tied the game a 4-4 with solo home runs in each the seventh and eighth innings, Stony Brook's freshman SS
Michael Palazzolo came to the plate with one out and sophomore RF
Chris Hamilton at second base and drove the first pitch he saw into left field. Hamilton scored on a bang-bang play at the plate to give the Seawolves a 5-4 lead.
