NORFOLK, VA. - A two run single by junior C Sean Buckhout (West Nyack, N.Y.) in the  sixth inning provided the difference in the Stony Brook baseball 5-3 victory over Iona on Friday evening at Norfolk State's Miller Field. 
 
Sophmore RHP Aaron Glickstein (Dix Hills, N.Y.) picked up the win in relief, his second of the season and his career, while senior RHP Aaron Pinto (West Covina, Calif.) earned his third save of the season for the Seawolves (4-1).

Turning Point ?
With the score tied at 3-3, Sean Buckhout singled with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning to bring home freshman CF Cristian Montes (Pacoima, Calif.) and junior 1B Brandon Alamo (Artesia, Calif.) to give Stony Brook the lead for good.

• Stony Brook's victory was the 998th in program history. 
• The victory was also the 775th career win for head coach Matt Senk, all at Stony Brook. 
• Junior 1B Brandon Alamo recorded two hits and scored twice.
• Junior 2B Brandon Janofsky collected a pair of hits and scored once. 
• Sophomore RHP Aaron Glickstein picked up hid second win of the season, coming out of the pen to pitch 2.2 scoreless innings. The win was his second of the season and his career. 
• Senior RHP Aaron Pinto earned  his third  save of the season.
