NORFOLK, VA. – Stony Brook baseball picked up the programs 999
th victory on Saturday night by hanging on to get past Sacred Heart 7-6 in the second game of the weekend at Norfolk State's Miller Field.

Bret Clarke (Royersford, Pa.) earned the win in the start after he went 5.0 inninhgs and allowed two runs on eight hits. Senior RHP
Aaron Pinto (West Covina, Calif.) earned his fourth save of the season for the Seawolves (5-1).
Stony Brook belted out 11 hits and were led by senior 3B
Bobby Honeyman's (Massapequa, N.Y.) two hits and three RBI, while junior DH/1B
Brandon Alamo (Artesia, Calif.), sophomore OF
Michael Wilson (Colonia, N.J.) and freshman C
John Tuccillo (Clinton Corners, N.Y.) also each had a pair of hits.

Stony Brook scored in each of the first four innings, including putting up four runs in the fourth inning to take a 7-0 lead. The Seawolves managed to scored those runs on just one hit, a RBI double by sophomore SS
Nick Grande (Smithtown, N.Y.), and four Sacred Heart errors.
