STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The Stony Brook baseball team dropped the first game of the three-game series to Wagner on Saturday afternoon 14-6 at Joe Nathan Field, while game two was suspended due to darkness with Wagner leading 6-2 in the top of the 7
th inning.
Game two will resume at 12 p.m. on Sunday prior to the start of the third and final game of the series.

Game One Turning Point ?
Wagner jumped out of the gate early with three runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back.
Notes/Stats
- Stony Brook recorded two doubles on Saturday and has now his 32 this season. That puts the Seawolves ranked seventh in doubles per game in the NCAA stats.
- Sophomore 1B Chris Hamilton (Schenectady, N.Y.) hit his first home run of the season and the second his career in the third inning.
- Hamilton also drove in a pair of runs and had two hits for his second multi-hit game of the season.
- Sophomore SS Nick Grande (Smithtown, N.Y.) posted a pair of hits on Saturday for his third multi-hit game of the season.
- Junior C Sean Buckhout (West Nyack, N.Y.) had two hits for his third multi-hit game of the season.
