TAMPA, FLORIDA– The Stony Brook volleyball team was unable to get by USF, falling 3-2 at The Corral Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves won the second and the fourth set to force it to five. In the fifth set, the Bulls held on 15-10 to seal the victory.
Coach Belzung's Reaction
"While our energy to start the match was not where it needed to be, it was good to see the team fight through that a bit and to force a fifth set. Sometimes you have to grind out an ugly win, and unfortunately we were unable to do that today. Credit South Florida for competing hard and continually adjusting throughout the match."
