Match Venue Change
Tuesday night's match will be played in the David S. Mack Fitness Center, instead of the Physical Fitness Center.
Scouting Hofstra
The Pride is coming off a 2-1 record at the Hilton Penn's Landing Temple Invitational. They started off the invitational against Loyola Marymount, falling short in four sets 3-1. The team then got back on track and won its next two matches against Rhode Island and Temple. In the victory, junior setter Luisa Sydlik tallied a career-best 66 assists and junior outside hitter Laura Masciullo notched a match-high 23 kills.
History vs. the Pride
Stony Brook is 1-5 against Hofstra, with the lone victory coming in 1999.
Last Time Out
The Seawolves are coming off a 2-1 record at the South Florida Tournament. The team won its first two matches against Jacksonville and San Jose State this past Friday. On Saturday, Stony Brook came up short falling to USF in five sets.
