Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Stony Brook Sweeps Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT- The Stony Brook volleyball team opened up 2018 America East play in a big way Friday night, defeating Hartford 3-0 (30-28, 25-18, 25-21). The Seawolves improve to 7-8, and the Hawks fall to 7-5 on the season.

Coach Belzung's Reaction
"Each match in conference play is a dog fight so to start 1-0 feels great. We gritted out a come from behind first set and then settled into our serve and pass game really well. Hartford is very good offensively and we made some adjustments throughout the match to keep them off balance. We are looking forward to cheering on football tomorrow following CommUniversity Day, and then will get back after it to prepare for another road trip next weekend."
