Gouchie-Provencher has Career Day in Win Over New Hampshire

DURHAM, N.H. – The Stony Brook women's basketball team kept things rolling in conference play, topping New Hampshire, 82-63, at Lundholm Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves now improve to 14-3 on the season and 3-1 in America East play.

Redshirt sophomore F Oksana Gouchie-Provencher (Montreal, Canada) had herself quite the birthday, recording a career-high 29 points to lead all players on the court. Sophomore F India Pagan (New London, Conn.) was just one point shy of her career high, adding in 19 and senior G Shania Johnson (Frederick, Md.) earned her seventh double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 assists.

McCOMBS REACTION
"I thought we were very good offensively tonight as we had four players in double figures. We also shared the ball well with 25 assists. I thought we attacked the basket better than we have been and got to the free throw line, which was very important in our game plan."
