McCOMBS REACTION
"I thought we competed against a high powered offensive-minded Arkansas team today. Their run in the second quarter happened quickly and we weren't able to overcome it. Playing at this level and in this environment was an experience that we will take with us for the remainder of the season. It will help us zoom our focus in on the little things we talk about every day."

HIGHLIGHTS
  • Stony Brook started the game out hot with a three from Warren on the team's first possession of the game.
  • The Seawolves didn't relinquish its lead until the 4:39 mark of the first quarter after the Razorbacks converted a pair of free throws to find a 14-13 advantage.
  • Stony Brook didn't back down, however, as Warren and graduate student F Cheyenne Clark (Deptford, N.J.) earned back-to-back old fashioned three-point plays get within four early in the second quarter.
