Sam Kamara is one of three captains for the 2019 Stony Brook football season. We sat down with him and asked him what it meant to be elected as a captain for the upcoming Seawolves' football season.
Kamara was named second team All-CAA Football in 2018 after he collected 36 total tackles and led the team with 6.5 sacks to go with 9.0 TFLs. For his career, Kamara has played in 33 games and started 28 times. He has 82 total tackles in his career with 16.5 TFLs and 10.0 sacks.
The Seawolves are set to open the 2019 season in Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium with the first of seven home games when Bryant returns to Long Island on Aug. 29.
