BOSTON, MASS.- Junior Alyssa Oviasogie (Buffalo, N.Y.) was named America East Field Performer of the Week after she won the Pentathlon at the Metropolitan Championships this past Friday. Oviasogie scored a conference best 3296 points, and became the program's first Metropolitan Champion in the event.

The Stony Brook track and field teams will be back in action on Friday, at the Fastrack National Invitational.
