BOSTON, Mass. - Stony Brook women's track & field competed at the 2026 CAA Indoor Championships on Sunday, medaling in three events, including a golden win for
Grace Weigele in the 3,000-meter. Throughout the day's worth of events, the Seawolves earned 31 points, finishing eighth overall.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Weigele outpaced a field of 16 other runners to win the gold in the 3,000-meter (9:24.10).
- Sophia Squires, Samantha Osei-Kyei, Olivia Schwartz, and Shaylen Goslar earned silver in the DMR (11.43.57).
- Goslar medaled in the mile run, finishing third to take bronze in the event (4:48.14).
- Weigele earned five points for Stony Brook in the 5,000-meter, finishing fourth (17:07.05).
- Danielle Cirrito finished seventh in the 3,000-meter, earning two points in the process (9:52.73).
