FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Stony Brook baseball team played a tough 18 innings today on the road against a Southeastern Conference opponent, but fell short of a win in both games against Arkansas, falling 3-1 in the opener and 4-3 in the nightcap of Friday's doubleheader.
The Seawolves had the go-ahead runs on in both games, with the bases loaded in Game 1 and runners on second and third in Game 2 but were not able to get the runs across.
SENK'S REACTION
"I'm extremely proud of our tremendous effort the entire doubleheader. We did so many positive things today except for the excessive amount of strike outs in both games. Tomorrow we're looking forward to performing better at the plate and picking up where we left off in the other facets of our play to earn a victory in a very tough place to win"
