FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Stony Brook baseball team was not able to overcome a hot-hitting Arkansas team in the series finale, falling on Saturday afternoon 15-7 to the Razorbacks.
Senior
Sean Buckhout (West Nyack, N.Y.) recorded a team-high three hits on the afternoon, going 3-for-5 to aid the Seawolves offensive cause but Stony Brook was not able to continue its defensive successes from the first two days after holding the Razorbacks to seven runs in 18 innings of play Friday.
SENK'S REACTION
"Despite our fast start today we struggled to keep Arkansas from having several big innings that took us out of contention. We have learned quite a bit about ourselves these first three weekends and we're very optimistic about our chances over the remaining three months of the season"
