BOSTON, MASS.- Sophomore Amanda Stead (Miller Place, N.Y.) was named to the America East Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Team, announced by the conference Wednesday afternoon. Stead holds a 3.83 GPA and is a Health Science major. She is a member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll, was named to the Dean's List for three semesters, and is a part of Stony Brook's Society of Distinguished Scholar-Athletes. 
 
Stead finished second in the 400m dash (54.90) and fourth in the 200m dash (24.72) at the America East Championships.
