STONY BROOK, N.Y.-The Stony Brook softball team is set to face Iona at home on Friday, and then continue the home stand during the weekend, hosting the Stony Brook Invitational. In the tournament, the Seawolves will take on Bryant and Fairfield. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Seawolves are coming off of a 4-1 win against Fordham on Tuesday. In the victory, Melissa Rahrich (Brighton, Colo.) was stellar in the circle pitching in all seven innings only giving up one run. Rahrich also led the way at the plate hitting a two-run homer in the sixth inning. The home run was her fourth of the season. Junior Jourdin Hering (Federal Way, Wash.) also had a solid day at the plate going 3-3, picking up her sixth mult-hit game of the season. 

SCOUTING IONA
The Gaels enter the game Friday with a 1-13 record on the season. The team is coming off of a 1-0 loss to Pacific on Tuesday. Freshman Jessica Chilcott leads Iona in batting average (.372) and hits (16), and in the circle freshman Kara Zazzaro has seen most of the action pitching in 45.1 innings owning a 2.01 ERA.

SCOUTING FAIRFIELD
The Stags enter the weekend with a 12-5 record on the season. The team is coming off of a doubleheader split with Delaware State on Wednesday. Sophomore Mikayla Rubin leads Fairfield in hits with 23, and  freshman Katie Kudiacik has seen most of the action in the circle pitching in 45 innings with a 3.11 ERA.

SCOUTING BRYANT
The Bulldogs enter the weekend with a 2-20 record on the season. The team is coming off of a 8-1 win on Sunday against Saint Peter's. Freshman Toni Camarillo leads Bryant with 16 hits, and in the circle junior Gabrielle Ermish has seen most of the action pitching in 43 innings owning a 3.34 ERA.

KEEP THE STREAK!
Since the loss to Georgetown on March 15, the Seawolves have won five straight. 

IN THE RANKS
The Seawolves lead the America East in batting average (.273), Lindsey Osmer (Martinez, Calif.) ranks fifth in batting average (3.78) and Shelbi Denman (Las Vegas, Nev.) is fourth in ERA (2.72).

ON DECK
Stony Brook will head to Fairfield, Connecticut to take on Sacred Heart on Tuesday for a doubleheader starting at 2:30 pm.
