BALTIMORE, Md. – Senior
Brandon Janofsky (Jackson, N.J.) played the role of clutch performer on Sunday afternoon, tying the rubber game with UMBC by scoring on a wild pitch in the 7
th and giving the Seawolves the lead for good with a RBI single in the 11
th to earn the series victory for the visitors.
Janofsky's heroics ensured the quality pitching from juniors
Jared Milch (Pacifica, Calif.) and
Sam Turcotte (Toronto, Ontario), who combined for 11 innings of two-run ball and stranded 10 Retrievers baserunners.
