17-3 scoreline.

GAME SUMMARY
- Stony Brook scored first in the contest, with a throwing error bringing in junior Chris Hamilton (Schenectady, N.Y.) to make it 1-0.
- LSU scored five in the first and four in the second to jump out to the early advantage.
- The Seawolves added a run in the fifth with senior Brandon Janofsky (Jackson, N.J.) coming home on junior Michael Wilson's (Colonia, N.J.) fielder's choice.
- Senior Dylan Resk (Ardsley, N.Y.) added one more in the sixth, depositing a 2-1 pitch in the left field bleachers.
STATS AND NOTES
- Buckhout's on-base streak increased to a team-high 20 with a two-hit day. It was also his sixth multi-hit contest of the season.
- Resk hit his fourth home run of the season and 21st of his career. The latter brings him into a tie for sixth in the Division I era.
- Hamilton went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate, setting a new career high in hits. It is his 19th multi-hit game of the season.
- Redshirt-junior Aaron Glickstein (Dix Hills, N.Y.) threw four scoreless innings in relief.
UP NEXT
The Seawolves will play an elimination game tomorrow at 1 p.m. Eastern against No. 2 Arizona State at Alex Box Stadium. The Sun Devils lost to No. 3 Southern Miss 15-3 earlier in the day.
