SERIES HISTORY: Stony Brook has compiled a (3-4) all-time record against Towson, but has gone (2-1) against the Tigers in Maryland. The Seawolves last faced Towson on November 9, 2019, when they fell to the Tigers, 31-14, on a cold Fall evening on Long Island. In that game,
Tyquell Fields tossed a pair of touchdowns to Nick Anderson. Fields threw for 241 yards and ran for 77 yards on seven carries. Stony Brook last defeated Towson on September 23, 2017, when it picked up a 25-17 victory at LaValle Stadium. The teams first went head-to-head on September 28, 2013, during Stony Brook's first season as a member of the CAA.

IRON TY SON LAWTON: Ty Son
 Lawton's strong season continued on Saturday, October 2, when he rushed for a career-high 154 yards and a touchdown at Rhode Island. It was the second time this season that he rushed for 100 yards or more. Lawton has rushed for a touchdown in four out of five games this season. Through five weeks, the redshirt junior currently leads the CAA in rushing with 425 yards and ranks 16
th in all of NCAA FCS. Lawton is tied for second in the conference for rushing touchdowns with four. The Staten Island, N.Y. native eclipsed 1,000 career rushing yards in the win at Colgate on September 11. The redshirt junior rushed for a touchdown in the first three games of the season for the Seawolves. The three-game touchdown streak was the second-longest of his career. Lawton had a five-game touchdown streak in 2019 (Sep. 21-Oct. 26).

WEEK 5 STANDOUTS: Graduate quarterback
Tyquell Fields rushed for a pair of TDs in the contest at Rhode Island. It marked the second time in his career that he rushed for two TDs in a game. He also rushed for two at Villanova on October 26, 2019. Fields is tied for the team lead in rushing touchdowns with four. Graduate defensive lineman

th in FCS in rushing (179.8 ypg). The Seawolves have rushed for at least 123 yards in all five games. For the season, Wright has recorded 24 punts for an average of 40.8 yards per punt. Wright has placed 12 punts inside the 20, which are the most in the CAA this season. 50 percent of Wright's punts have pinned opponents inside the 20.
