STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Dylan Pallonetti leads the Stony Brook men's lacrosse team in goals, assists and points. He also leads America East in the conference's Rookie of the Week honors.
Pallonetti, a redshirt freshman attackman, earned his third AE Rookie of the Week honor on Monday, after tallying two goals and an assist in Saturday's four-overtime loss against UMBC in the conference opener.
Through four collegiate games, Pallonetti has 14 goals and six assists.
Pallonetti's 3.5 goals per game rank second in America East and 16th nationally. He trails only Binghamton's Justin Roderka (5.0) among conference players, but the Bearcats have only played one game.
Pallonetti, a transfer from Maryland and product of Stony Brook's Ward Melville High School, also earned the America East Rookie of the Week award on Feb. 22 and last week.
The Seawolves return to action on Friday when they face seventh-ranked Syracuse inside the Carrier Dome.
