MIAMI — The Stony Brook football team's NFL presence continues to grow.
Timon Parris signed with the Miami Dolphins on Thursday and Connor Davis signed with the Cleveland Browns on Friday, the latest in a flurry of recent signings that include
Sam Kamara with the Chicago Bears,
TJ Morrison with the Las Vegas Raiders and
Augie Contressa with the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Parris, a 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive tackle, previously has played four regular-season games with Washington.
He was a three-time All-CAA Football selection at Stony Brook.
As a redshirt senior in 2017, Parris was the top performer on an offensive line that helped Stony Brook average 29.2 points and 351.2 yards per game.
Davis, a tight end, appeared in 41 games for Stony Brook from 2013 through 2016.
