STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Alyssa Francese will enter the fall nine goals from matching the Stony Brook women's soccer program's career record.
 
Her acclaim most recently includes being the lone America East student-athlete named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's national top 100 players.

Francese checked in at No. 86 in the year-end rankings.

She has produced 36 goals with the Seawolves, which currently stands third-most all time. Only Lisa Paladino (42, 1986-89) and Erica Keller (45, 1996-98) produced more during their Stony Brook careers.

Francese's 78 career points rank fourth in program history.

Francese's honors for the spring season, which culminated in an NCAA Tournament appearance, include United Soccer Coaches All-Region, United Soccer Coaches third-team Scholar All-American and first-team Scholar All-Region, first-team All-America East, America East All-Academic team and America East All-Championship team. She also was named to MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List and was an America East Presidential Scholar-Athlete Award.
