SEAWOLVES SCOUTING REPORT: The eight-game winning streak is a season-high for Stony Brook and the team's longest streak since they won 22 consecutive games during the 2019-20 season. The 26 made free-throws against Vermont are a new season-high for the Seawolves. Stony Brook is now a perfect 7-0 when they score 70+ points and 10-0 at Island Federal Arena this season. The Seawolves are one of six teams in the nation with 17 wins on the season.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS: The Bearcats fell to the Great Danes, 52-41, on Monday, January 31, at home. With the loss, Binghamton dropped to 5-11 (1-5 America East) on the season. Binghamton's scoring offense is led by junior forward Birna Benonysdottir. Benonysdottir leads the scoring for the Bearcats and sits in second in the America East standings averaging 16.2 points over 13 games (11 starts). Junior guard Denai Bowman follows behind Benonysdottir averaging 14.1 points over 16 starts. Head coach Bethann Shapiro Ord is in her fourth year at the helm of Binghamton. Shapiro Ord led the Bearcats to a 22-9 record during the 2019-20 campaign. Binghamton started off the season 9-0 and recorded their most wins in 21 years. Shapiro Ord's team is currently ranked first in the nation and America East for three-point field goal defense (21.1).
