PROVIDENCE, R.I. —
Kristine Theys made it four wins in a row in singles matches on Saturday afternoon, but the Stony Brook tennis program had to settle for a weekend split after a 6-1 loss to Brown.
This match came off a dramatic 4-3 win last night against Rhode Island.
Theys was able to secure a three-set victory at No. 3 singles, winning 7-6 (4), 4-6, 11-9 but that would be it as far as team scoring was concerned for the Seawolves.

"We started out a little slow and shell-shocked in doubles. In singles, we had some opportunities and Kristine played another tough match. She's been money for us all season" - head coach
Gary Glassman.
